I got a courtesy email to remind me of one of the Terms Of Services that I never read or knew about, I think it’s fair for NOT storing these zip files on the server, which cost more for the Hosting company. I think it’s nice of InMotion Hosting to remind me instead of suspense my account from violating Terms Of Services. Yes, as a publisher, I do load the zip files to the server then extract them for posting, most of the time, I delete the zip files, but sometimes I do forget and I left so many up there. I couldn’t believe how many little zip files I have all over the place. InMotion Hosting also gave me a list of these files for me to remove them, it’s going to take a while, but from now on, I would make a habit of removing the zip files as soon as they’re extracted. Keep this in mind if you have InMotion Hosting as your host. Despite a few down times at LA servers, I’m pretty happy with InMotion Hosting, a US based company and I really want them to survive the bad times and thrive when good times come.
After removing all these large files, a responsive email came right away, it’s very efficient.
The list is sooo long, it will take me a while to delete them all, InMotion Hosting does offer to remove them for me, but I rather to do it myself to make sure no mistakes exist.
MAKE A HABIT OF DELETING ZIP FILES LOADED AND EXTRACTED ON SERVER to prevent this from happening.
