Edit DSDT To Fix VoodooHDA.kext From Kernel Panic

If we want to install VoodooHDA.kext, we have to remove AppleHDA.kext in the System/Extension folder before the installation to prevent Kernel Panic. We can edit DSDT to never have to remove AppleHDA.kext again when we need to update Mac OS X.

Upgrade Lion 10.7.4 To Mountain Lion 10.8 On i5 2500k P8Z68-V

So, with the new Mountain Lion 10.8 came out, if you have all the files and apps loaded on a partition and you don’t want to reformat and wipe out everything when upgrading from Lion  10.7.x, just install ML over the Lion partition, it will back up everything for you – I recommend to use

Speedstep With Lion 10.7.4 and Windows 7 On i5 2500K

Many people seem to concern about speedstep for the Hackintosh, I believe when we use vanilla Kernel and correct SMBIOS.plist, it’s automatically working. I checked my Lion 10.7.4 vanilla Kernel on i5 2500K Asus-P8Z68-V LX speedstep by comparing the cores temperatures at idle and full loads and they do change just like in windows 7.
