My niece has a 2004 Mercedes C230 with the stereo stolen, left a big hole on the dash. I decided to get a stereo for her. The 7″ detachable face SSL DD888 was on sale for $90 at Fry’s Electronics, it fits the goal. The only thing it doesn’t have is bluetooth hand free and A2DP. The best one should be the SSL DD889B that has the bluetooth. We may return the unit to get the SSL DD889B or SSL DD662B. The one thing that needs to hook up is the green wire for parking brake must be connected to ground for the blinking warning words to disappear.
