This is the first time I bought dual camera dash cam system for my Audi A8L D5. This RedTiger with 4k front and 2k rear is very good. The quality built solid and sturdy with mounting base on the windshield. The rear camera with electrostatic film works quite well. The length of the rear camera wire is a little too close for my Audi A8L, another foot or 2 would be better because the car is quite long.
The instruction is very clear and easy to follow. The software for iPhone and desktop are good. This one has GPS so it can record the car speed and location at anytime which is great in case of an accident. The wifi works solidly unless interfered by other wifi in the car. The size of the video files are big, so I replace the 32GB with 64GB for more recording time before being over written.
The videos are very crisp and clear with 4k and the rear 1080 are good too. They’re both wide angle so we can see everything clearly.
This one has the parking recording but I don’t use it. If you want to use it, you have to turn it on in the camera and add a constant 12V to power it. The instruction for this is in the manual.
The camera can be removed very easily, so it’s convenient when parking at some place you don’t want people to see your nice camera. The rear can’t be removed easily because it’s glued in.
I got this one as a used one from the manufacturer with discount and it’s like a new one. Everything is there and it looks new.
I’ve been using for a month and everything is still working solidly.
For the price and the quality, this one fits the bill. I would get other sets for my other cars.
