Turtles lay eggs on the beach this season, they go up after the sunset, find a nice place on the beach, dig a hole and start laying eggs. Each one can lay up to 150 eggs. There are government officials watching these turtles and secure the eggs for hatching. They place these eggs in a secured area with the information on when the eggs will be hatched and they even have an openning for these young turtles to get out to the ocean, which is very nice. We’re lucky to see a tutle laying eggs with these offcials, it’s a great experience, it was pass midnight.

The eggs are like ping-pong balls, soft but strong shells.
