Some Android TV Box has built-in hid-multitouch.ko for capacitive or resistive touch screen panel, some don’t, like my M9S Pro. In order for the Android box to recognize the USB touch screen controller, we need to load the hid-multitouch.ko when the system boots up. There are many ways to install this hid-multitouch.ko, but the easiest one is to use an app called to load the file every time it boots up. is for Android 6.0.1 and 7.1.2.

how make hid-multitouch.ko auto running after boot, because I must load/save manual after boot.
Hey, I’m facing some issues. With my iiyama 24″ Projective Capacitive Touchscreen ( projected https://iiyama.com/de_de/produkte/prolite-t2435msc-b1/ ) and my android tv box running 7.1.2 (Kernel Version 3.14.29) the touchscreen won’t recognize touch after starting the module hid-multitouch.ko
Is it because of monitor or the android box? Would appreciate any ideas on this?
I believe the problem is from the touchscreen or the tv box. Make sure the USB port and the connector is good
Thanks for the reply. I changed the box and tried a different one. (TX6) Now the touch screen workes, but only as a touch pad. :-/ So when I touch the screen i can move the mouse cursor. Tapping will also execute “mouse click”. So a step forward, but not what I need, Any idea of how to change the touch behaviour? Will buy another box and try further.
Checked with another Android Box (R1 PLUS from bqeel) and it works like a charm. Great artikle though. Keep it up!
Well just work for the t95z plus Android TV box
