I used to use to digitize (back up) all my old HI8, Mini DV, VHS tapes to my Windows computer. I found another device Billion Xin that works on both Windows 10 and MacOS Big Sur for less than $9 on Amazon which performs amazingly well. This device will be recognized by Windows 10 as AV to USB2.0, and macOS without any special drivers needed.
- Windows 10 will work with these software: Movie Maker (2012), OBS Studio and VLC Media Player.
- MacOS Big Sur will work with only Quick Time/Movie Recording and OBS Studio and NOT VLC Media Player.
